Our client commissioned us to capture his life story in a cartouche.

Rich with layers of meaning, this bespoke cartouche reflects our client’s origins, values, and aspirations. A focal point is his native country’s national flower — a tribute to both his heritage and also to his mother. His deep faith, his commitment to creating meaningful impact, and his hopes also comprise elements of the design.

To honor his achievements, we doubled the rope border that traditionally signifies elevated status and wrapped the pendant with a flowing ribbon, as on a family crest. Etched on the ribbon is Ne Cede Malis — “Do Not Cede to Evil” — the motto of the Bronx, where he was raised.
