A Symbol of Service and Legacy
Our client requested a commemorative pin to give to executive leaders of a non-profit at a national conference.
Behind the Design
This brooch was inspired by the powerful symbolism of the organization's emblem—the white rose—paired with a yellow rose to represent the state of Texas, where the conference was held. The Yellow Rose of Texas carries an additional layer of significance, as it is said to reference an African American woman who played a pivotal role in winning the Texas Revolution of 1836. Commemorating the organization’s mission and historical legacy, the brooch is engraved on the stem with the conference's title and the date.
